Division of Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation (LTSI)

[Last revised:  Nov. 21, 2018 - GLJ]

The material in the Division of Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation (LTSI) [formerly: Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC)] might also be referred to as the Judson Collection (named after an early staff member).

On Jan. 6, 2012, LTC brought over approx. 9 shelves of books. This formed the bulk of the collection at the time, but occasionally, they will send some new titles (which they purchase themselves) to add to their collection.

NOTE: In 2017, the name officially changed to Division of Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation (LTSI) from Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC)

  • Check each title against the catalogue to identify those titles that we already have in the library database:
  • Any duplicate titles (same edition) will be added locations.
  • Unique titles will be flagged for LTSI and be searched and catalogued as normal.
  • Location code in holdings record: teac
  • NO barcode
  • NO item record
  • Rubric on verso of t.p. and on call number label: LTSI
    • (note that the rubric was formerly LTC)
  • Dust jackets are discarded/recycled
  • Call number label affixed in the usual place(s)
  • Gutter stamp “LTSI”  (instead of “U of V”)
  • (LTSI stamps kept on processing table along with others)
  • NO tattletape
  • In general, NO binding (there may be the odd exception).
  • LTSI creates their own charge cards and pockets for their own lending purposes.

Once processed, place item(s) in a bubble envelope and mail to:
