My Library Card is Library Search's page that contains information on your library usage.
This page consists of multiple tabs, all which assist users with accessing library services and managing their current loans and requests. Each tab is explained further below:
Overview | The landing tab of My Library Card. Includes short overviews of your loans, requests, fines + fees, and blocks + messages. |
---|---|
Loans | Shows a list of loans you have taken from the library. This display can be toggled between active loans and previous and historic loans. |
Requests | Shows a list of all current requests you have placed in the library. |
Fine + Fees | Shows a list of all your current fines and fees. |
Blocks + messages | Shows all messages you have received as well as any blocks your account may have from accessing certain library services. |
Personal Details | A summary of your personal information as it relates to your library card, as well as a drop-down menu that allows you to select your default interface language (English is selected by default). |
If you are a distance student, there is a dedicated unit to support your collection requests. They can be reached by email at infoline@uvic.ca.
