Licensing

When depositing items in UVicSpace, an author will be presented with two licensing options:

  1. non-exclusive distribution license agreement appears in the submission form that grants UVic the right to distribute scholarly works online and to migrate them to new formats in the future if necessary.
  2. Authors can choose to release some rights to their work using one of the Creative Commons (CC) licenses. Authors can specify conditions under which others can copy, distribute, and modify their work with attribution.

There is one last step: In order for UVicSpace to reproduce, translate and distribute your submission worldwide, you must agree to the following terms.
