The Indigenous Hub isn't just a collection of links; it's a curated space offering access to historical documents, carefully selected library resources, and essential websites.
For too long, the wealth of Indigenous knowledge has been dispersed, sometimes inaccessible, and often viewed through a lens that doesn't fully honour its origins. Our goal with this hub is to centralize, amplify, and make accessible resources that are crucial for learning, research, reconciliation, and self-determination. This is just the first step, resources and links will continue to be added to the Indigenous Hub.
In bringing together the materials on this site, you may encounter some outdated language -- language that is both offensive and racist. We are actively working on initiatives to address inappropriate language in areas where we have the ability to change descriptions of records, including within our catalogue records. Titles and content of published materials is however left untouched. Such titles remain evidence of the worldviews of certain peoples that looked upon Indigenous peoples through oppressive lenses, and as such, offer evidence of the ongoing need for change.
