Covidence

Covidence is a web-based platform that streamlines the process of conducting a comprehensive literature review.

How do I set-up an account?

Get an institutional account with Covidence:

Step 1.     Go to the sign up page: https://www.covidence.org/organizations/5_gd3/signup

Step 2.     Enter your information (using your @uvic.ca email address) and click "Request Invitation" link. 


For non-UVic email addresses, please register and contact esource@uvic.ca with the email account used.

Step 3.     Accept the invitation in your email 

Step 4.     Login to your Covidence account

Why join the institutional license?

  • Unlimited number of reviews (projects)
  • Unlimited number of collaborators for each review
  • Unlimited number of records/citations for each review
  • Unlimited Priority Support service for all users
  • Invitation and migration of existing organizational users (i.e. those already using Covidence with a UVic email address)

Troubleshooting

What if I used a different email (gmail, etc.) to sign up with Covidence? Can these reviews still use the institutional license?

 If you have a review that is linked to a email that is not @uvic.ca, contact esource@uvic.ca. An invitation will be sent to you for institutional access.
