Open Science & Open Scholarship

Open Science is a global research reform movement and a set of scholarly practices that aims to make more research transparent and accessible

Components of Open Science

Open Science is a research reform movement that fundamentally aims to make the process and outputs of scholarly inquiry more transparent, accessible, collaborative, and ultimately, more efficient and beneficial to society. It seeks to move away from traditional, often closed, practices towards a more open and interconnected way of conducting and disseminating research.

It encompasses various components working together. These elements of Open Science strive to create a more robust, equitable, and impactful research ecosystem.
