When you are not quite satisfied with your search results in Summon, you may consider to search in subject databases. Here is the list of library databases by subjects, using the drag-down menu to select your subject and click on "GO".
If you are not sure which database to use, the Subject Guides is a good starting place.
Article Search Tips
Use wild card symbol * to find word variation
e.g. the search term "method*" will retrieve words like methods, methodology, methodological...
Quotation marks are used for phrase search
e.g. "language policy"
Keyword Boolean
The three boolean operators "and", "or", "not" are used to connect our search term. It determines the relations between your search terms. e.g. Language and plan* and (revital* or revival)
