The Global Terrorism Database (GTD) is an open-source database including information on terrorist events around the world from 1970 through 2011, with annual updates planned. Unlike many other event databases, the GTD includes systematic data on domestic as well as international terrorist incidents.

Current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government and includes full text for 245 pamphlets and offers indexing and abstracts for nearly 400 titles. Also contains some international (and Canadian) material.
