Search & find Use "Books & Media" search on library home page to find books, journals, audio-visual materials, e-resources, and more in our collection. If you find an item in print format, you need to check its availability and write down the call number to locate it on the shelf. For e-resources, relevant web links will direct you to the content. Articles can be searched in subject-related databases or through the main search box. If you are If you have your Netlink ID and password, you will be able to get access to all of our resources from off-campus.
Browse the shelves Journals and books are shelved together according to their subjects, which makes it easy for you to browse your areas of interests. The subjects and topics are arranged according to the Library of Congress Classification Outline.
Borrow materials Check borrowing information to find out how many items you can borrow and how long to keep them. You can renew the items that you borrowed or recall an item that is checked out by someone else.
Borrow materials not available at UVic The library will help you borrow materials from other libraries throughinterlibrary loan. The titles of your requests must be in the romanized alphabet.
