Overview

UVic Libraries has access to the complete Wiley EBA collection. Wiley uses the term Usage Based Collection Management (UBCM) for their evidence-based acquisition product but the same principles apply. We have unlimited access to the titles available in the package and at the end of the subscription period UVic Libraries purchases oBook titles of our choice, informed by usage statistics, to be added to our collection permanently.

The Wiley EBA comprises titles from a number of publisher partners, including Wiley, Wiley-Blackwell, and some professional society presses such as Wiley-IEEE Press.

Although we have access to the complete Wiley EBA oBook package, unfortunately this not mean that we have access to everything that Wiley has published and some exclusions apply. The most notable exclusions are titles deemed textbooks by the publisher and in the Wiley case, we only have access to online books (oBooks) and not their eBooks.
