What is Scopus?

Scopus

Scopus is a large citation and abstract database of research sources, including journals, books, conference proceedings and trade publications. Scopus is updated daily and provides researchers with a tool to search, discover, and analyze subject areas and fields of interest across science, technology, medicine, social science, and, arts and humanities.

Use Scopus to search for:

  • documents - papers, articles, conference proceedings, book chapters and more 
  • authors - find potential collaborators and research partners
  • affiliations - uncover potential collaborators working in specific fields

Scopus data model

Scopus data recognizes that articles are written by authors who have affiliations with institutions.

This relational data model means that Scopus can tell you who is researching what in global literature and where they are doing it.
