Citations using Chicago style:

If you are using the author-date format of Chicago style, the general template is:
- In-text: (Last name publication date, page number(s)). For example,
- Reference list: Last name, first name. Publication date. Book title. Publication location: Publisher. For example,
- Russell, Pia. 2023. Happy Library Research. Victoria: UVic Press.

Depending on your topic, there are many other options as well. For example, the BC Archives and the City of Vancouver Archives have excellent collections with many items digitized.
