A guide to European studies resources in UVic Libraries

European Union in Canada

The University of Victoria McPHerson Library was designated a "European Information Corner" (EUi)  in November 2006.  The Library receives free of charge, a copy of most European Commission, an institution of the European Union,  periodicals and publications.  The official publications contain information ranging from recent policy developments in most sectors of EU activity to statistics on trade, demographics, agriculture, transport, energy and economic indicators. While the collections contain primarily Commission documents, material from the Council of Ministers, the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice can also be found in these centres.  More information on the EUi can be found at the Delegation of the European Commission to Canada.

More information on Canada - EU relations can be found at the Official Web site of the Mission of Canada to the European Union
