Background
The OECD AI Principles were adopted in May 2019. The intent of these ten principles is to promote innovative and trustworthy AI that respects human rights and democratic values, including transparency, explainability, and accountability.
These ten principles focus on how governments and other actors can shape a human-centric approach to trustworthy AI. As an OECD legal instrument, the principles represent a common aspiration for its adhering countries.
These ten principles are covering two tiers.
1. Values-based principles
2. Recommendations for policy makers
Creative Commons released seven principles on A.I. development as an outcome of the recent CC Global Summit.
Those principles do not only touch on copyright-related issues. They are broad in their appeal, covering many topics, including (but not limited to) decolonisation, traditional and Indigenous knowledges, and regulation.
