Book Arts Space: Pre-Visit Learning

Safety Equipment

The space is outfitted with various safety features.  The floor plan available in the Book Arts Space indicates the closest emergency exit as well as the location of a first aid kit, eye wash station, and fire extinguisher.

First Aid Response

In the event of an injury or emergency please contact both Campus Security (250-721-7599) and call 911. Minor injuries can be treated onsite using the First Aid Kit.  

All accidents, injuries and near-misses involving faculty, staff or students must be reported as soon as possible to a supervisor using the Departmental Incident & Investigation Report. For more about Reporting Incidents please see here.

 

Emergency Response

This space follows the same Emergency Response as the McPherson Library—Mearns Centre for Learning. In case of emergency, please follow your instructor's directions.
