Teaching to Impact: A Toolkit for Embedding Wikipedia Editing in Asian Studies Curriculum

This toolkit provides practical guidelines on embedding Wikipedia editing in Asian Studies curriculum .

Conclusion and Contact Information

As mentioned in the Overview section, the toolkit content is based on data collected from a survey, focus group interviews, student group presentations, and reflection papers related to the experience of over 20 students in the PAAS 302 course. As such, the toolkit content may not be applicable to all sizes, types, and levels of Asian Studies courses.

Instead, it is intended to serve as a starting point and reference tool for anyone interested in using Wikipedia editing as an experiential learning approach. The toolkit and appendix documents can be used, adopted, or adapted for your own courses as long as our materials are properly cited. If you have any questions, comments, or feedback about the toolkit content, please do not hesitate to contact us at the provided email address: yingliu(at)uvic(dot)ca.
