Partners and co-hosts from across the region invite you to join us to honour National Indigenous Peoples Month throughout June and National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 20, 2025.

Join APTN in celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st. The iconic DJ Roger Laughingstick (aka Billy Merasty) will host the special day of programming. The lineup of shows includes an Acting Good Marathon and three special premiere programs: the 2024 Indspire Awards, Best of Indigenous Day Live, and Le Grande Solstice. Throughout the day, APTN National News will provide exclusive coverage of community events.

Every day is a good day to celebrate Indigenous cultures, and many Indigenous events welcome all guests. Attend your first powwow, participate in lively National Indigenous Peoples’ Day festivities across British Columbia, or attend a cultural feast or workshop.
