Welcome!

Welcome to UVic Libraries!

This guide is for new UVic Chemistry students, and it has been designed to help connect you with relevant course and research materials.

My name is Monique Grenier and I am the librarian for Neuroscience, Chemistry, and Mathematics and Statistics at UVic Libraries. I'd be happy to assist you do any of the following:

  • Introduce you to an array of library resources available through UVic Libraries
  • Teach you about citation management tools that can help format bibliographies
  • Provide one-on-one advice about your research topic
  • Help with literature searches and finding systematic reviews
  • Teach you advanced techniques for database searching
  • Assist you with setting up auto alerts for selected search strategies

Feel free to e-mail me with questions or book an appointment with me (mgrenier@uvic.ca). It would be a pleasure to chat about your research questions via Zoom or e-mail. I will try to get back to you within one business day, but if your question is urgent one of my librarian colleagues would be pleased to assist you as well (askus@uvic.ca).
