Research Data Services

Guidance, tools, and training to support faculty and students working with research data.

Share Data

Depositing data into a recognized digital data repository can provide the necessary curation and storage conditions needed to keep your data securely accessible over the long term.

Many journal publishers are requiring authors to deposit and/or share the research data associated with their publications. As well, emerging policies governing the use of research grants and awards also encourages or requires the use of data repositories, where ethical, legal, and commercial requirements allow.

UVic Libraries can guide researchers in selecting an appropriate repository to suit their needs. Visit the Select a Repository page for more information.

For assistance sharing your research data, contact Monique Grenier.
