UVic's Learning & Research Repository - is an online archive which holds articles, books, theses, conference papers, technical reports, video, audio and image files, as well as course-related materials. UVic Libraries is committed to the preservation of files in standardized formats. It also provides a venue for researchers to comply with open access mandates from granting agencies, such as, the Canadian Institute of Health Research, National Institute of Health, Michael Smith Foundation, etc.
Personal home file storage is a temporary network storage space that is available to all UVic students, faculty, and staff. The Central Storage Infrastructure (home.uvic.ca) can be used to store up to 1 GB of documents related to UVic coursework. All of the workstations in UVic's computing facilities have Personal home file storage mounted, but you can also connect to it from your personal notebook or home computer, even from off-campus.
To connect to Personal home file storage you can follow the setups for Mac and Windows using the link above or contact University Systems for assistance.
