UVic's all-in-one search, Summon

Are you looking for a specific journal article, e-book, or book?

You can type the name of the article, e-book, or book into Summon 2.0. Summon lets you simultaneously search the Library's many full text e-journal articles as well as its print and book collection. See the video "Summon 2.0 - UVic Libraries Research Help video" below for how-to help.

Summon 2.0 is an intuitive and fast search engine that helps you discover relevant information on any topic from the University of Victoria Libraries collections.

Are you looking for a specific journal article that UVic Libraries does not have access to?

Fastest way to obtain articles for which UVic does not have a subscription is through Interlibrary Loan. Interlibrary loan provides you with resources from other libraries when UVic does not hold the item you need for your study or research.
