Tucked in the back of this edition of the Œuvres du marquis de Villette (PQ2067 V43 1786) are twenty samples of LeĢorier Delisle's experimental paper made from various plant materials (marshmallow, nettles, hops, moss, reeds, etc.). Seen here is paper made from thistles.
