First Nations by-laws, land codes, and other

Land Codes

The First Nations Land Management Act S.C. 1999 c.24 allows for the enactment of land codes.  The Schedule to act is organized by "Names of First Nations" and includes "Coming into Force Dates of Land Codes"    Amendments to the Schedule are made by federal Orders-In Council.

The Orders in Council are listed in Woodwards Native Law chapter 22  and found in full text on  the Privy Council of Canada Orders in Council database; search by "First Nations Land Management Act".
