You can filter the reviews by platform (Apple, Android, Blackberry etc.), by medical specialty or by type (calculators, textbooks, drug info). Reviews, comparisons and "top 10" lists are provided. Screen shots, pricing and strengths and weakness are covered.

    Reviews are by PC World writers and by readers. Focus is on functionality, interface and ease of use NOT quality of evidence provided. Health apps (wellness, nutrition, fitness) and Medical apps (for health professionals or EMTs) are separate categories.

    Emphasis on productivity and utility apps. No detailed reviews of medical apps but thorough reviews of other apps for Apple or Android. Monthly roundups of useful apps. Covers Windows 7 smart phone apps.
