Limiting Your Search: 

Adding the word 'Canada' or 'British Columbia', etc. can be useful if you want to focus on First Nations people in a geographical locale.

The University of Alberta Libraries offers these search terms which you can cut and paste into Ovid Medline or Ovid EMBASE. There are terms for Indigenous people in Canada as a whole, as well as for individual provinces.
