Colloquium is an innovative information service for the research, development, and educational community in the life sciences. The basic component of the library is a 50- to 100-page "Lecture"; a self-contained electronic book that synthesizes an important research or development topic, authored by an expert in the field. We believe that they offer unique value to the reader by providing more analysis and depth than the typical research journal article. They are also more didactic and convenient than traditional print or digital handbooks, contributed volumes, and monographs. The library and its lectures are organized by series.

Report of the Task Groups on Reference Man from 1975
by International Commission on Radiological Protection Staff (Editor)
Publication Date: 1975-05-01
An amazing publication from 1975 that gives all sorts of data about the human body. For example, p.214-215 talk about brain tissue composition and specific gravity. "A unique comprehensive work on the reference male and female, including data on mass of the various organs of the body, chemical composition of the body and various tissues and physiological data. While still the major source of reference data, this report is supplemented and amended by ICRP Publication 89."
